In these videos, Our Bodies Ourselves content expert Sarah Pillone speaks about menopause with family medicine physicians Dr. Laura Zucker and Dr. Parra Tomkins. Zucker and Tomkins run a program called the Hot Flash Café to support their patients through menopause.

Dr. Laura Zucker and Dr. Parra Tomkins begin by talking about how they got from family medicine to menopause care specifically. How did they get interested in menopause care and how do we address its inequities?

Dr. Zucker emphasizes that menopause is a natural process we are meant to go through, even if it's easier for some and very challenging for others. How can we manage the symptoms and figure out our priorities? How can we understand health risks, and decide on the best course of action -- whether that is hormone treatment or other therapies?  Dr. Tomkins notes the many existing strategies and how they target particular symptoms. Lastly, where can we find good menopause care for ourselves?
