Addressing Institutional Racism & Health Inequality: My Perspective

Diana Namumbejja Abwoye comments on race and health disparities from her perspective as someone who emigrated to the U.S. from Uganda, trained as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and is raising two daughters. She challenges white people to go beyond equal opportunity statements, to become "white accomplices" instead of merely allies in ending institutional racism.
