Advocacy & Activism

How to Work for Change

It’s not always enough to learn about our sexuality, health, and rights. Sometimes we need to take action and make change. There are many ways to get involved in activism and advocate for the rights, dignity, equality, and freedom of women and gender-expansive people.

If you are interested in volunteering with Our Bodies Ourselves, please fill out our volunteer interest form.

For those who want to get involved with more specific issues or topics, we list non-profit organizations that focus on advocacy related to our individual subject areas. Learn how to volunteer, lobby, provide crisis counseling, educate others, plan events, offer material support, and more. In addition to helping change the world, activism is good for our health!
