EducateUS: SIECUS In Action

EducateUS: SIECUS In Action is building a movement of voters laser-focused on advancing progressive sex education policy and implementation across the country. They provide resources and avenues for advocacy in communities, the media, and the government in support of progressive sex education.

Molly House Project

Molly House Project offers social and educational resources to men and masculine of center folks who engage(d) in sex work. They provide support in the form of mutual aid, community building, activism, and education.

National LGBTQ Task Force

The National LGBTQ Task Force is training and mobilizing activists to advance full freedom, justice, and equality for LGBTQIA+ people. They work in multiple arenas, from the media to the church to the government, to fight for the rights of LGBTQIA+ people.

SAGE

SAGE is the country’s largest and oldest organization dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTQIA+ older people. Opportunities for volunteers include hosting SAGE Tables to build intergenerational connections; becoming Ambassadors who educate their communities on LGBTQIA+ aging; and attending trainings, webinars, and other events to learn more and build advocacy skills.

Scarleteen

Scarleteen provides inclusive, comprehensive, supportive information on sexuality and relationships for teens and emerging adults. In addition to the large collection of information published on their website, they also have message boards, a live chat, and text message helplines to answer questions around sex, sexuality, sexual health, and relationships.

SisterLove, Inc.

Sister Love, Inc. is a sexual and reproductive health and justice organization dedicated to the health and wellness of Black women, femmes, and gender nonconforming persons. They provide preventative education to address HIV and other STIs, conduct research to promote health equity, and advocate for youth and women affected by HIV/AIDS and other forms of reproductive oppression.

Sylvia Rivera Law Project

The Sylvia Rivera Law Project works to guarantee that all people are free to self-determine gender identity and expression, regardless of income or race and without facing harassment, discrimination, or violence. They fight against discrimination and for political representation of gender non-conforming people, paying particular attention to people of color, people with low incomes, and people who have been imprisoned.

Trans Lifeline

Trans Lifeline is a grassroots hotline and microgrants 501(c)(3) non-profit organization offering direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis – for the trans community, by the trans community.

We Are Dancers

For dancers, by dancers, We Are Dancers USA is a harm reduction and advocacy organization seeking to empower the exotic dancing community by providing comprehensive needs-based information and resources. Resources include that pertaining to health; beauty; self care/mental health; and legal, safety, and financial assistance.

The Woodhull Freedom Foundation is devoted to education and public advocacy in support of sexual freedom as a fundamental human right.
