environmental justice
Today, the world is facing a triple planetary crisis of climate change, biodiversity and ecosystem loss, and pollution. These crises disproportionately affect the most vulnerable, marginalized and excluded people and communities; this is environmental injustice. Environmental justice is made possible when all communities have access to information and decision-makers that enable them to take action for clean water and air, healthy food, safe housing, green spaces, the reduction of climate change and its impacts, and the ability to avoid toxic exposures.
