Pansexuality (or being “pan”) is an attraction to people of any gender or to people regardless of their gender. (The prefix “pan” comes from the Greek word for “all.”) It’s an identity that is very similar to bisexuality, which might fit better for people who don’t like the binary implications of the word bisexual.
