Casual sex is sexual activity that we engage in outside of a romantic relationship. Sometimes called, “hooking up,” “sex with an ex,” “friends with benefits,” “booty call,” “one night stand,” “hit it and quit it,” and many other terms. While casual sex is socially acceptable in some communities, in religiously conservative (patriarchal) communities it is often considered a terrible sin or even a crime.
