Heart Health and Pregnancy

A heart-healthy pregnancy is possible, even for people with a personal or family history of heart disease.

Specialized centers exist to take care of individuals with heart disease who are pregnant or contemplating pregnancy. These centers often have teams which are made up of physicians across multiple specialities, including cardiology and obstetrics/gynecology, who have an expertise in caring for this patient population.
