Next Chapters Podcast celebration

On September 18th, Our Bodies Ourselves celebrated the launch of our new -- and very first -- podcast! Hosted and co-produced by Mindy Fried, "Next Chapters" explores the remarkable landscape of growing older for women.

Next Chapters is packed with rich conversations about topics we rarely talk about openly, like sexuality, our bodies as we age, navigating work and retirement, and dealing with obstacles to quality health care.

At the event, Mindy Fried discusses her inspiration for the podcast and for the season's seven episodes. We also hear about the work behind-the-scenes from Next Chapters's co-producer, senior editor, and sound engineer, Karen Given.

Mindy then treats us to live interviews with some of the podcast's guests, including medical sociologist Karen Bullock, sexuality researcher Jane Fleishman, and Our Bodies Ourselves co-founders Vilunya Diskin and Joan Ditzion.
