Activist Authors on Reproductive Justice: New Books that are Building an Intersectional Movement (webinar recording)
Our Bodies Ourselves hosted a conversation with four powerful, activist authors on May 28, 2025. Loretta J. Ross, Carrie N. Baker, and Our Bodies Ourselves expert panel co-chairs Candace Bond-Theriault and Marlene Fried discussed their new books and how they are helping to shape an intersectional movement for reproductive justice.
Our four speakers opened the program with overviews of their books. We then had a vibrant conversation about strategies and practical advice for advocacy amid the current backlash, where to find inspiration, the intersection of disability and reproductive justice, and other audience questions.
Featuring:
"Queering Reproductive Justice" by Candace Bond-Theriault,
"Abortion Pills" by Carrie N. Baker (available open access),
