Our Bodies, Our Quilt

My square depicts a stormy sea with the sun peeking out from a cloud. This is meant to represent that my relationship to my body recently (since experiencing a loss) can feel like a stormy sea—powerful in both positive and negative ways, and something that deserves to be listened to and respected. The sun peeking through the cloud symbolizes that on the other side of stormy seas, the sun always shines.
