She cares deeply about providing trauma-informed care to individuals from a feminist perspective. In practice, this means taking into account the sociopolitical environment of the patient to conceptualize their distress and mental health concerns. She is currently accepting patients in her private practice.
I have a strong and enduring interest in feminism and feminist therapy. I am delighted to be associated with OBOS, an organization that has for the past several decades stood up for women unapologetically and provided resources for people all over. I am aligned with their mission of empowering women and the community at large by disseminating vetted information about all things related to women, including mental health. As a psychiatrist who is focused on feminist therapy, OBOS is an incredibly wonderful opportunity for me to serve women.
