Sasha Goodfriend (she/her) is a community organizer, curating feminist & queer experiences through partnerships with statewide government, community organizations, and creatives alike. She works to advance this mission through her roles as executive director of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Organization for Women (Mass NOW), chair of the menstruation to menopause content stream of Our Bodies Ourselves, board member with the Transgender Emergency Fund, and member of Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ Youth.

Sasha graduated with a BA from the Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, majoring in international relations with a minor in women, gender & sexuality studies. She received her masters in public policy from Simmons University.

It's an especially exciting time for research and news around menstruation and menopause, which have been overlooked for so long - we learn something new every day. By making information about menstruation, perimenopause, and menopause more accessible, I hope people are empowered to know they have choices around how to manage their health.
