Meesha Vullikanti (she/her) is a medical student at the Yale School of Medicine who has been engaged in abortion access work and research for the last 7 years.

Originally from Southwestern Virginia, her research focuses on access to contextualized knowledge about abortion across languages and geographic settings.

She holds a master’s in bioethics from Harvard University, where her research focused on English- and Spanish-language differences in publicly-available abortion information.

Meesha also works as an abortion doula in New England.

I first learned of Our Bodies Ourselves during the first college course I took on reproductive politics in the US, a class that sparked my long term interest in abortion advocacy, clinical practice, and research. I’m grateful to get to contribute to something that was so meaningful in forming my professional and personal passions!
