Jill Steinberg, Ph.D., is an emeritus professor at San Jose State University, a licensed clinical psychologist, a Salzburg Fellow, a researcher, an author, and the founder of MyRetirementWorks.com. She earned her undergraduate degree from Boston University in 1972 and her doctorate in clinical psychology from Ohio State University in 1978.

Since retiring, Jill's research focus has been on successful retirement, including findingpurpose in retirement, Jill has taught courses and presented her research at institutions such as Boston University, University of California, Santa Cruz, Google, Boggleheads, Mensa and other professional organizations. Her work has been published in The Aging Consumer: Perspectives from Psychology and Economics (Routledge, 2020).

Since 2020, Jill has been collaborating with the University of Michigan Ross Business School in various capacities.
