Jacqueline Arellano, DACM, L.Ac, is a licensed acupuncturist and organizer living and practicing in the California borderlands she calls home. In both her border aid work and her healthcare practice, she is committed to supportive medicine that is accessible, integrative, and comprehensive for all.

She holds a doctorate and master's degree in acupuncture and Chinese medicine from Pacific College of Health Science in San Diego, where she is also clinical faculty supervising shifts with UC San Diego Health and the office of Survivors of Torture.

She is a Community Coordinator with the humanitarian and legal aid non-profit organization Al Otro Lado, and for over a decade has been dedicated to providing direct aid on the ground along the so-called US/Mexico border.

I believe health is integral to community resilience and resistance, and should be accessible to all. I am excited to collaborate with OBOS to further the goal of improving equity and access to health related knowledge for all women.
