Helen Kang Morgan
Helen Kang Morgan is clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology and learning health sciences at the University of Michigan.
She was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She briefly left to attend Wellesley College for her undergraduate years, then returned for medical school and obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Michigan.
She serves as the associate chair of faculty development and faculty life for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the faculty chair-elect for Women’s Careers for Michigan Medicine.
Her scholarly work has focused on the transition to residency, faculty development, and diversity, equity and inclusion, and she has over 100 peer-reviewed publications. She lives in Ann Arbor with her husband and two daughters.
Our Bodies Ourselves has been an important resource for me throughout my professional development, from my undergraduate years in women's studies classes to my current practice helping patients through their life transitions.
