Eve Blatt (she/they), MA, MSW, LCSW, is a psychotherapist in private practice and a graduate lecturer and board member of WTCI (formerly Women’s Therapy Centre Institute), an intersectional feminist psychotherapy institute.

They spent 11 years working with clients on navigating their relationship with drugs and alcohol and regularly received training in harm reduction.

During this time, she conducted screenings and brief counseling support on medical and psychiatric units, and facilitated a women’s group on the inpatient rehabilitation unit. In addition, they spent 6 years co-leading an intensive outpatient treatment program, where they facilitated hundreds of themed process and skills groups.

Eve believes in the power of intentionally inclusive community as a pathway for continuous healing and growth. She does not subscribe to one approach to working with clients and ultimately identifies as an integrative therapist, guided by curiosity and the effects of sociopolitical influences.

Eve has a master’s in early childhood education, a master’s in social work, and a post-graduate certificate in working with adolescents, all from NYU. She completed Level 1 training in sensorimotor psychotherapy, AEDP and mindfulness based relapse therapy. Most recently, she completed a one-year certificate in working with couples from the William Alanson White Institute.

She has received additional training in motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, internal family systems, acceptance and commitment therapy, and undoing racism from PISAB.

Eve is currently enjoying participating in group supervision for Emotionally Focused Therapy and an academic reading group for Queer clinicians and allies.

I am honored to be working with an organization that was groundbreaking in the fight for women’s bodily autonomy.

As a queer person, I join OBOS in their effort to now support and promote this same justice for an expansive group of genders across self-identities. I am passionate about cultivating spaces where people can be their most authentic self, together.
