Eva Marie Carney

Eva Marie Carney (she/her) founded and operates The Kwek Society, a 501c3 nonprofit that gets period supplies and puberty education materials to Indigenous students and their peers and communities across the United States. The Kwek Society works to end period poverty while celebrating individual dignity, agency, and success.

Eva is a dual citizen of the United States and The Citizen Potawatomi Nation. In addition to her work as founder and  executive director of The Kwek Society, Eva is an elected CPN legislator and a humanitarian immigration lawyer.

Eva enthusiastically accepted the invitation to join the team of menstruation to menopause content experts before the OBOS Today launch in 2022. She welcomes the opportunity to help ensure that Indigenous voices are included in OBOS Today's conversations and online content.
