Emmeline is a public health leader with more than a decade of experience advancing equitable access to sexual and reproductive health care.

She currently serves as deputy director of Free the Pill at Ibis Reproductive Health where she helps lead a national coalition-driven campaign that aims to raise awareness about over-the-counter (OTC) birth control and ensure that currently approved and future OTC birth control options are equitably access in the United States. 

Throughout her career, Emmeline has worked at the local, state, and national levels to improve health care access and outcomes for communities most impacted by systemic inequities. She has worked across public health, policy, and advocacy settings to strengthen programs that promote reproductive justice, bodily autonomy, health equity, and person-centered reproductive health care. 

Emmeline holds a master of public health degree specializing in community and sexual and reproductive health from the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy and a BA in political science from Barnard College.

 She is the recipient of the National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association's 2023 Rising Star Award.

Everyone deserves access to accurate and evidence-based information and resources that empowers them to make informed decisions about their bodies, health, and wellbeing. Our Bodies Ourselves does this work with a reproductive justice, intersectional, and inclusive lens while acknowledging and honoring the diversity of lived experiences.
