Dara Lee Lewis

Dara Lee Lewis (she/her), MD, FACC, is the co-director of Women’s Cardiology at the Lown Group in Chestnut Hill MA, where she is a full time cardiologist. She graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1992 and teaches and co-directs the first year HMS course in cardiology physiology and pathophysiology.
She completed her residency and fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where she is now a staff physician. She has also worked in Albuquerque, NM; Hilo, HI; and Livermore, CA. She is committed to empowering women through health education.
In my teens and twenties I relied on OBOS for vital information (reading a well-worn copy handed down from mom and two older sisters). I am thrilled to be able to contribute to this newer endeavor, which is an invaluable resource for future generations.
