Cindy Pearson
Cindy Pearson is the former executive director of the National Women’s Health Network, the first grassroots women’s health organization to bring the voices of women to Washington DC. Cindy worked at the Network for 33 years, the majority of the organization’s existence.
During that time she became one of the nation’s best-known advocates on women’s health, and is widely admired for her leadership in catalyzing grassroots action to hold the government and other powerful entities accountable.
As Cindy says, “women want effective treatments, accurate information, research on health questions important to them, and above all – respectful treatment.”
Cindy retired from the National Women’s Health Network in 2021. Cindy has also served on the boards of several local and national organizations, including her current service as the board president of Women’s Health Specialists.
