On Microaggressions Affecting Black Women and Girls

A short video created by three Black psychologists, including Our Bodies Ourselves Todap Content Expert Janie Ward, about empowering Black girls and women to recognize microaggressions and finding ways to “resist to remain resilient.”

With a conscious plan, you can thrive in the face of microagressions. Optimal resistance provides a way for you to thrive. Optimal resistance is naming discrimination, identifying its effects, and responding intentionally to support your health and well-being.
