LGBTQ Partner Abuse Survivors' Experience of Risk of Violence
This report by The Network/La Red addresses the experiences of LGBTQ survivors of intimate partner violence in Massachusetts. Centering the narratives of twenty-four survivors, they discuss the nature of abuse, where it occurred, and how the survivors reacted and responded to it, focusing closely on serious harm and lethality or threats of deadly violence. It also addresses which resources were helpful and which failed to sufficiently address their needs. The report is one step in a continued process of working to determine risk factors for harm.
