Find groups and organizations that center women and gender-expansive people in their advocacy for the improved diagnosis and treatment of chronic conditions.

Breast Cancer Prevention Partners 

Breast Cancer Prevention Partners (BCPP) is a national organization working to eliminate toxic chemicals, and other environmental exposures with known links to breast cancer. Their mission is to save lives and prevent breast cancer before it starts.

Endo Black, Inc.

Endo Black, Inc. is a Black-women-led organization advocating for African American women and women of color affected by endometriosis. They provide resources such as discussion spaces and support groups to help combat the struggles that Black women and women of color face in attempting to seek help for endometriosis and its symptoms.

Longhauler Advocacy Project

The majority women-led COVID-19 Longhauler Advocacy Project advances the understanding of Long COVID and its associated conditions, expediting solutions and assistance to Longhaulers and their families through advocacy, education, research, and support. Their website lists an abundance of immediately accessible action items and webinars/trainings.

Positive Women's Network

The Positive Women's Network is a nationwide U.S. community of trans and cis women, gender diverse and transgender people living with HIV (WGDTLHIV). They prepare all women, trans, and gender diverse folks living with HIV to be effective advocates and leaders in all levels of policy and decision-making.

White Dress Project

The White Dress Project is a non-profit organization working to spread awareness about the widespread occurrence of uterine fibroids. The WDP promotes education, fosters research, creates a supportive community, and advocates for better health. Most women with fibroids do not like to wear white because of the heavy bleeding related to the condition. The “white dress” is not a fashion statement but a movement. It is an emblem of hope and strength for women who are suffering from fibroids and a reminder that we will find a cure.

Weaving Voices

Founded in 1995 as Women's Voices for the Earth, Weaving Voices is a progressive national environmental health organization. It works to change consumer behavior, corporate practices, and government policies in order to eliminate the toxic chemicals that impact the health of individuals and communities. They support community advocacy and education and organize to hold corporations, government, and decision-makers accountable.

Letter Writing Campaigns

The Center for Environmental Health,  Environmental Working Group,  Pesticide Action Network North, and Toxic-Free Future all organize ongoing petition and virtual letter writing campaigns. Environmental Working Group also offers a student leadership program.
