OBOS is in the running for a MySpace Impact Award, for organizations and individuals making a "positive impact" in the world.
Please take a moment to nominate OBOS -- you do *not* have to be a MySpace member to take part. Simply click here: http://www.myspace.com/impactawards -- and scroll down to the nomination box. Enter "Our Bodies Ourselves," along with our MySpace URL, www.myspace.com/obos, and write a quick blurb describing why OBOS deserves an Impact Award. Select the health/safety category, and you're done!
The whole thing takes less than a minute, and we'd really appreciate your support.
All of the finalists get free publicity and ad space on MySpace, and the winner gets a $10,000 donation. From past winners, it looks like smaller organizations are just as likely to win as larger organizations, so we may have a real shot here -- and a real chance to increase awareness about all the great work that OBOS does.
Plus: If you haven’t checked out our MySpace page, please take a look -- we currently have more than 1,500 friends, and we’ve received many supportive comments. We love making these connections. Viva la web!
