December 2023 Newsletter: Looking Back at 2023

December 1, 2023

The executive director’s note draws attention to the many people who contribute to Our Bodies Ourselves Today. Donations will be doubled, thanks to a generous challenge gift.

This newsletter looks back at the many awards, publications, and other accomplishments that our content experts garnered in the past year.

Two new panel chairs have joined the Our Bodies Ourselves Today team: Nadeeka Karunaratne (gender-based violence) and Dior Vargas (mental health). Future projects include a newly redesigned website, new content, a new birth control panel, and a summer institute in reproductive justice. Meanwhile, the Center for Women’s Health and Human Rights marks its twentieth year at Suffolk University. And the complete text of a new Brazilian adaptation of “Our Bodies, Ourselves” is available on the OBOS Today website.
