Inga T. Winkler

Inga T. Winkler, PhD, is an Associate Professor in International Human Rights Law at the Central European University in Vienna, Austria, the founder and co-director of the Working Group on Menstrual Health & Gender Justice at Columbia University, and the co-editor of the Handbook on Critical Menstruation Studies. She is particularly interested in the intersections of menstruation, human rights, and culture and focuses on questions of stigmatization, marginalization, and representation. Another strand of her research builds on her policy experience and engages directly with policy-makers on menstrual health.
