Our Bodies Ourselves has a long and illustrious history that goes back to 1969. Formerly called the Boston Women’s Health Book Collective, Our Bodies Ourselves–-both the book and the nonprofit organization–-have been integral parts of the global movements for women’s health and reproductive justice.
