An in-depth look at the 1973 chapter, “In Amerika They Call Us Dykes,” the only chapter not composed by the original Boston Women’s Health Book Collective. Written instead by the Boston Gay Collective, the chapter aimed to celebrate lesbians, remove the stigma and lack of awareness, and rally for inclusion of lesbians in the women’s health movement.
