interACT is an initiative that advocates for the rights of intersex youth and adults via legal and community actions. The organization provides resources to raise awareness and calls to action to improve the lives of intersex people.

“Intersex is an umbrella term for differences in sex traits or reproductive anatomy. People are born with these differences or develop them at a young age. Genitalia, hormones, internal anatomy, or chromosomes can develop in many ways…InterACT uses innovative legal and other strategies to advocate for the human rights of children born with differences in their genitals, chromosomes, hormones, and reproductive anatomy.”
