The United States’ National Library of Medicine has created LactMed, a free online repository of information summarizing the risks and safety considerations of hundreds of medications and chemicals that breastfeeding mothers or chestfeeding parents and their nursing infants might be exposed to. The database also includes alternatives when available. You can look up medications you take, nutritional and herbal suplements, chemicals that are in your cleaning and body-care products, and exposures you may face at work. The articles are regularly updated as new studies are published.
