This report presents the history and application of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) and the legality of age-based discrimination in the workplace, with a focus on older women.

“I indisputably show that the ADEA was weak when it was adopted fifty years ago and has been eviscerated over the years by the U.S. Supreme Court. Older workers today have little real protection against age discrimination in the workplace.”
