Far be it from us to add to unfriendly female fodder, but does it really make sense to [call out "Our Bodies, Ourselves"](http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1190714/Why-women-horrible-other.html) for not focusing more on female consciousness raising parties -- or for the book cover being pink?  
  
Granted, most modern activism doesn't involve mirrors, but has the author read feminist blogs or seen Twitter and Facebook? There's plenty consciousness-raising happening, and plenty of feminist media critiquing our all-too critical culture.  
  
**Plus**: Speaking of a consciousness raising party, if you're lucky enough to be in New York on June 12, go celebrate Feministing's 5th Anniversary. Happy early birthday, ladies!

"Barbie pink"? How silly. The book is fine. But I guess we're all supposed to start slapping each other and fighting over it now?  
  
  
  
The current OBOS still has a strong foundation in respect and common ground.
