The post below was written by Hannah Sachs-Wetstone, an intern on the project.* Our Bodies Ourselves Today is running a [\#GiveOUTDay campaign](https://www.giveoutday.org/organization/Our-Bodies-Ourselves-Today) throughout Pride Month! The [OBOS Today platform](https://www.ourbodiesourselvestoday.org/) will be a global, world-class resource for the most up-to-date, accurate, and holistic information about bodies, health, and sexuality for women, girls, and gender diverse people. [Give OUT Day](https://www.giveoutday.org/giving-events/giveout21) is the only national giving event for the LGBTQIA+ community, and this year OBOS Today is one of over 400 nonprofits participating. Since 2013, hundreds of nonprofits have raised millions for #GiveOUTDay. This month, OBOS Today is aiming to raise $5,000! Your valued donation will contribute to the OBOS Today project through $50 gift cards for members of the LGBTQIA+ community to share their stories on our platform. OBOS Today is committed to supporting and serving the LGBTQIA+ community through representation within our organization and leadership team as well as in the content we create. OBOS Today is continuing the work started over 50 years ago with the bestselling book "Our Bodies, Ourselves," the first mass-readership nonfiction book in the U.S. to focus on lesbian health and sexuality in a chapter titled “In Amerika they Call Us Dykes” (1973). It is important to us that we include perspectives from across different racial and ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, classes, ages, abilities, immigration and carceral statuses, beliefs, gender identities, and other differences. The website will have evidence-based information from a variety of experts in fields from medicine to policy as well as personal stories from real people. OBOS Today also understands the need to place this information within the political, social, and cultural contexts in which women live and seek healthcare. Even a $10 contribution is incredibly valuable to us! Our top ten donors will be highlighted on the OBOS Today website and our top donor will get an invitation to our fall events!
