Berklee College of Music, Our Bodies Ourselves, and the Simmons Institute for Leadership and Change invite you to One Blazing Glance, a benefit concert for women's groups around the world now producing translations and cultural adaptations of "Our Bodies, Ourselves."  
  
This uber cool event will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at the Simmons College Linda K. Peresky Conference Center.  
  
The event will help fund groups currently producing [cultural adaptations and translations](/programs/network/default.asp) of "Our Bodies, Ourselves." Take a look at the books in progress from Nigeria to Russia. Plus, there are groups in India, Africa and Vietnam seeking start-up funds.  
  
The show starts at 6 p.m. and features the world premiere of Berklee professor Beth Denisch's composition "[One Blazing Glance](http://bethdenisch.com/newsreviews.html)" -- which includes poems from around the globe on issues of childhood, adolescence, motherhood, mid-life transitions and maturity. "One Blazing Glance" will be performed by a Berklee faculty quintet that includes Kathryn Wright (voice), Wendy Rolfe (flute), Felice Pomeranz (harp), Melissa Howe (viola) and Winnie Dahlgren (marimba).

Admission for free for Simmons and Berklee students, but still call to make a reservation, as seating is limited.
